JPS Oil & Propane is a family-owned and operated business that began in 1989 when John Schmidt and his father-in-law, Roger Stover, purchased a local Marathon Oil route from Joe Winkle, who had been in operations since the early 1950's. John and Roger grew the company, adding the propane side of the business in 1999.   

When Roger retired in 2008, John and his wife, Tonya, purchased the remaining shares of the business and became sole owners of JPS Oil & Propane, along with it's sister company, S&S Sanitation. 

With the help of our dedicated and responsible employees, we have been able to grow the company while staying true to our core values and motto of "Small Town Service - Small Town Pride", along with our customer-service. 

JPS Oil  & Propane offers delivery of propane for residential and commercial heating, as well as agriculture dryer systems. In addition, we deliver residential home heating #2 fuel oil, and agricultural and commercial diesel fuels and gasoline. We also offer a line of motor oils, greases, and hydraulic oil of many different grades.
